Recently, Chris was asked to perform a complicated delivery by the retailer given he has previously completed many deliveries for this customer.
Upon arriving at the drop location, a multi-unit dwelling, Chris soon realised the recipient had communication difficulties and was confined to a mobility scooter. Communication through the intercom for the delivery was not available and the goods were heavy.
Chris waited to be buzzed into the building, travelled up to the 7th floor and located the package in the recipient’s home in a spot of his choosing.
The recipient commented that if Chris didn’t go to this level of customer service and if it was in the hands of a ‘normal courier’, the item wouldn’t have been delivered at all!
