Today I’m excited to announce a partnership with Greyhound Australia, allowing us to move parcels between capital cities throughout Australia. The partnership will allow us to use our own couriers to deliver to the Greyhound bus depot, placing the parcel on a bus to be delivered to the depot in another city and our couriers can pickup and deliver to our customers each day. The service will still allow you to enjoy the benefit of our liveGPS tracking so you’ll know the exact location of your parcel at any time.
Since we started in September 2014, we have been delivering parcels for customers around the cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. Our service has grown rapidly over that time and today we now have over 1000 new customers signing up to Zoom2u every single month. Much of the growth we have seen is from word of month. We work hard to deliver on our brands promise and work towards our vision of being a leading express courier service in Australia.
Our existing premium express air freight service will continue to be offered to customers, allowing you to have a parcel moved between cities on the same day. The new service with Greyhound allows for parcels to be delivered next day and often will be delivered before 12pm.  We have been on the look out for a partner with whom we can work closely with and are very excited to be working with the team at Greyhound. What’s great about this service is that we are using an asset that was already travelling in the direction our parcels needed to go. It means no additional vehicles are on the road and therefore no additional impact to the environment.
The service is operating from today and starts at $39 for a document between Sydney and Melbourne. We can take a parcel of up to 30kg in weight.
