Big update to our delivery platform

We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for our customers here at Zoom2u. As the founder of Zoom2u, I started the company because I wanted to change the way parcels were delivered across Australia.

Over the past two years since we started we have learnt a huge amount, having delivered more parcels that what I had ever imaged. We have had more than 18,000 people register to use Zoom2u, and on daily basis many large and small companies use us to fulfil their orders to their customers.

For the past 6 months we have been working away in the background on a big update to the way you place bookings! We have undertaken many customer interviews on what you liked and what you didn’t like, and today’s release is the result of all that feedback.

Placing a booking is now improved! It’s faster, simpler and comes with even more features.

New look and feel:

We’ve revamped the look and feel to match  our current branding. You’ll notice the change when you login:

Booking form:

Our booking form has been completely rebuilt from scratch, no more telling us the type of vehicle required. Just tell us what you want to ship and we’ll work out the rest.

Entering in your address now includes a map so you can see exactly where we think your address is.

Live chat with your courier:

One of the biggest improvements is that you can now chat directly with your courier, you can see which couriers are online by the green dot.

Please note you will only see couriers who are allocated to an active booking.

Large item delivery:

Previously we have only delivered items up to 30kg in weight. Today we can now deliver much larger items. When you require a large item, or many larger items, to be delivered you will need to take a photo of the items and we will then send out the request for delivery out to our couriers to bid on delivery. This will usually take a few minutes at most to receive bids back from couriers, you’ll then be able to select the courier of choice to complete your delivery. It’s perfect if you need to move that couch, fridge etc.

In the quote request section you’ll see all of your requests and from there you’ll be able to accept a couriers bid to do the delivery.
